My Favorite Places in the Home to Photograph Your Newborn
Capturing your newborn in their best light is my ultimate goal as your Atlanta Newborn Photographer! I want to provide you with memories that will last a lifetime. Whereas I will photograph your little munchkin where you’d like me to, I do have some favorite spots! I wanted to share those with you along with why I feel these areas make the best options!
In Your Master Bedroom: Newborn Photography Atlanta Georgia
Newborns are just so tiny…as I’m sure you already know! If you’ve taken a peek at my work, I’m sure you’ve seen several photos where I have the adorable model on a master bed. This is by far in my top 3 places in the home to photograph your newborn!
In my opinion, their teeny body on the bed just looks too cute to pass up! Additionally, master beds are of course massive. This allows for plenty of space to move your munchkin around. I can pose them in a wide variety of ways and know that they are going to be cozy and not cramped.
Master beds are for the master of the house, which whether you like it or not, is definitely the newborn!
In the Comfort of Their Nursery
Nurseries make excellent photo back drops due to their child-like design. I can get some adorable pictures of your newborn in their crib or in any of their cozy lounging pieces you have. Cribs and mobiles make beautiful additions to the background of newborn photos as well. I love capturing those special moments between you and your newborn while you’re holding them in your arms.
Sometimes, this atmosphere can also be calming for a newborn. I want to get the best photos, but I also want to be sure your newborn is comfortable and feels safe. That’s why nurseries can make excellent options for the first few photos or when your newborn gets a little nervous!
On Living Room Couches
Couches make excellent options for your newborn photography session in Atlanta, Georgia. Reason being, they are typically meant to fit at least 3 people. They allow for a wide variety of photos with the whole family! They also add a touch of coziness to any photograph. They’re soft, plushy, and your newborn will look like they’re floating on a cloud! Even if that cloud is lime green or bright red. When you look back on these photos, you’ll recognize the furniture and be able to reminisce on the memories it gave to you.
Near Large Beautiful Windows
Taking your newborn photos with the backdrop of a large, beautiful window is an excellent option! Not only do they add incredible lighting, but they make a space feel more open. They add a natural glow to your in home newborn photography session in Atlanta Georgia! I love using windows for their lighting, but in my opinion they also make your photos look surreal. They add to the ambiance and feeling of bringing a newborn into the world!
Final Thoughts:
